What can you expect from an adjustment at Quantum Chiropractic?
Dr. Jaron Hughes is known for being thorough.
Upon arriving you'll be greeted by our friendly staff. Once Dr. Hughes calls you back to the adjustment area, he'll ask the basic questions. He wants to know how you've been feeling and what your concerns are. He will then assist in loosening up any muscles that may prevent an effective chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Hughes will then take into account your preference for the chiropractic style ("cracking" vs. "no pops please!") as you relax into his hands and experience a full body tune up.
So what actually happens within the body after a chiropractic adjustment?

"A beautifully-specific upper cervical adjustment, with ease and grace flowing through the humble chiropractor, enacts great healing.
With this stimulation, the nerves are urged to adapt or “rewire.”
Nerve pathways that are repetitively stimulated can grow, mold, solidify, or change. New nerve connections can be formed and old coping patterns can dissolve. This all has an effect on the participant’s physical physiology, emotional well-being, and mental cognition.
This is called “neuroplasticity” and it’s a big

We know now that when pathways are stimulated within the nervous system and brain, we stimulate a process called “synaptogenesis.” No new nerves are formed per say, but new nerve connections most certainly are! This means that if we want to feel more stable or flexible or adaptable in our body, then we need specific mind-body practices to guide us towards those outcomes."
